144-hour transit visa in Beijing
I will only be staying in Beijing for three days and then I'm going to Japan afterward. Is it correct that the things you need to have to get a 144-hour transit visa are: 1. Valid passport issued by 53 countries mentioned above 2. A fully completed Arrival/Departure Card (including name, nationality, passport no., visa no., issuance place, flight no., purpose of visit, date of birth, gender) 3. An onward ticket with a confirmed seat is needed Will I need a Visa for a third country or region, if I don't need a Visa to go to Japan?

No, you do not need a third-country visa for Japan. Since Italy is on the 54-country list and Japan grants visa-free entry to Italians, simply present your valid passport, completed arrival card, and confirmed onward ticket to qualify for the 144-hour transit visa-free policy.
