Ultimate Screams—A Thrilling Park for Courage
The rides at Wuhan Happy Valley are a test of courage, a test of heart rate, speed, and height.
Spirit of Speed: Asia's Largest Roller Coaster Matrix
Wooden Wing Double Dragon (Asia's first double-dragon wooden roller coaster): This is the signature attraction of Wuhan Happy Valley. Two winding red and blue tracks, 1150 meters and 1200 meters long respectively, with a drop of 32 meters, create a unique vibration from the wooden tracks combined with the whistling wind, making each plunge a primal force.
Extreme Speed Coaster (China's tallest catapult roller coaster): Utilizing pneumatic catapult technology, it accelerates riders from a standstill to a top speed of 135 km/h in just 2 seconds. The dual thrill of instant weightlessness and rapid ascent sends adrenaline soaring to its peak in a matter of seconds.
Monte Carlo Track + Thunder Chariot: The high-speed track's cornering chases and the exhilarating collisions of the spinning chariots make it a popular choice for young groups seeking a challenge.
Peak of the Limit: A heart-pounding trial for the brave
Sun God Chariot (Super Pendulum): Experience the ultimate centrifugal force during high-speed rotation and massive swings. Each ascent to the highest point offers panoramic views of the entire park, only to be followed by a weightless plunge into the abyss.
Fun Bungee Jump: Wuhan's first 45-meter V-shaped double-platform bungee jump facility, providing an extreme heart-pounding thrill with a high-speed descent. Leaping from the platform and plunging into the water at nearly 100 km/h is the ultimate way to release stress and challenge yourself.
Whitewater Ride + Savage Valley Rafting: Two must-do water activities for summer. Whitewater Ride plunges from a great height, sending huge splashes soaring into the sky; Savage Valley Rafting takes you through a tropical rainforest-style canyon, offering a refreshing and thrilling experience along winding waterways.
Secret Realm Fun: A collision of technology and imagination
Interstellar Voyage Mine Train: A metaverse-themed mine train ride that uses holographic projection, light gates, and cold fog to transport riders through a hyper-realistic futuristic interstellar tunnel, experiencing the perilous landscapes of a wild planet.
Treasure Hunt Stunt Show: A cinematic live-action stunt show featuring off-road motorcycles, racing car drifting, multi-vehicle chases, and thrilling leaps—a series of high-speed stunts, like a live version of "Fast & Furious," with tires screeching against the ground as riders push their limits.
4D Dynamic Cinema: Through the perfect integration of special effects and film, the seats vibrate, spray wind, and spray water in sync with the plot, immersing the audience in a fantastical world.
Photography Tips:
The launch moment of the high-speed roller coaster, the wooden track curve of the Twin Dragons, and the splashing water during the rapids ride are all worth capturing. It is recommended to bring an action camera or use your phone's high-speed continuous shooting function.
Family-Friendly Fairy Tale – A Dream Kingdom for the Whole Family
Wuhan Happy Valley is not only a testing ground for young people's courage but also a paradise for families.
Happy Ocean (Family Amusement Paradise): With attractions like the Seahorse Rider, the Amazing Flying Fish, the Seaplane, and the Musical Spaceship, and colorful ocean-themed scenes, it's perfect for parents and children to enjoy together.
Dessert Kingdom (Fairy Tale World): Featuring attractions full of childlike fun such as the Cake Palace, Crazy Afternoon Tea, and the Sweet Clock Tower, the 4D Caramel Desert Cinema provides an immersive audio-visual experience that is very popular with children.
Cartoon Factory (Children's Exclusive Park): Featuring a children's roller coaster, 4D cinema, and bubble ball pit, this park offers gentle amusement rides designed specifically for young children, allowing them to explore the world with laughter.
Magic Theater + Royal Carousel: The Magic Theater presents captivating theatrical performances, while the double-decker Royal Carousel is a must-try for the whole family.
Humanistic Craftsmanship – Urban Memories Flowing Through Steel and Concrete
The architecture and performances here are not just entertainment, but a living expression of Wuhan's urban culture.
Wharf Culture Town (Hubei's First Immersive Wharf IP Performance Area): Reopened in June 2025, this area is modeled after the Hankou Wharf of the early 20th century, recreating scenes such as banks, photo studios, teahouses, and rickshaws. Visitors can participate in interactive tasks to unlock roles such as porters, storytellers, and police officers, immersing themselves in the century-old legacy of the Wuhan spirit. On opening day, a humanoid robot was unveiled as a "special guest," engaging with the world through technology.
The live-action performance "Fighting at the Wharf": This classic play, which has been performed for 13 consecutive years and has accumulated over 5,000 performances, has been upgraded to version 2.0. The performance tells the story of the heroic struggle of Wuhan people against invaders during the Republic of China era. Actors scale walls, climb water towers, and ride rooftops, recreating fight scenes in a parkour style, with flashes of fire and explosions eliciting gasps from the audience. Lu Ming, Chairman of the Hubei Provincial Quyi Artists Association, commented: "Wuhan prospered because of water and flourished because of its wharves. The wharves not only witnessed the city's prosperity but also nurtured the 'unyielding and daring' spirit of the people of Wuhan."
Happy River City Theme Area: In addition to the live-action performance "Fighting at the Wharf," there is also a situational theater showcasing the old Wuhan wharf culture, with multiple performances daily, providing an excellent window into the charm of Wuhan's local culture.
Roller Coaster Museum: A newly built roller coaster research and learning base, presenting the development history and mechanical principles of roller coasters with 1:1 miniature models, allowing visitors to appreciate the charm of technology while experiencing thrills.
Photography Tips:
The Republic of China-style street in the Wharf Cultural Town is an excellent location for ancient-style photography; cheongsams, long gowns, and rickshaws are the best props. The vibrant ocean-themed scenery in the Happy Ocean area is perfect for families to take heartwarming photos. When the lights are on at night, the skyscraper and roller coaster tracks create a cyberpunk visual effect with interplay of light and shadow. The wooden structure of the Wooden Wing Dragons has a unique charm under the sunset; it's recommended to visit the Extreme World area at dusk for photos.
