08:30 - 09:00: Meeting and Departure

Meeting Point: Shanghai Museum Main Entrance

Visitors will gather at the main entrance of the Shanghai Museum, where the guide will provide a brief introduction of the day's itinerary and important notes. After the briefing, the group will board an air-conditioned bus to the first destination.


09:00 - 10:00: Shanghai Museum

The Shanghai Museum is one of the most important art museums in China, housing a vast collection of ancient Chinese art, including bronzeware, ceramics, and paintings. Visitors will have one hour to explore the museum and gain a deeper understanding of Chinese history and art.


10:15 - 11:15: Jade Buddha Temple

The Jade Buddha Temple is a famous Buddhist temple in Shanghai, known for housing a giant jade Buddha brought from Myanmar. 12:45 - 13:45: M50 Art Gallery

M50 Art District is one of Shanghai's most creative cultural landmarks, home to numerous contemporary art galleries and creative studios. Visitors will spend one hour exploring and appreciating works by local and international artists, including contemporary paintings, sculptures, and installation art. 14:00 - 14:45: Silk Museum

The Silk Museum showcases the ancient silk culture of China, covering the history and production of silk, as well as the exquisite craftsmanship of silk products. Visitors will learn about the silk-making process and have the opportunity to watch a live demonstration of silk weaving. There will also be an opportunity to purchase silk products. The visit will last for 45 minutes.


15:00 - 16:00: City God Temple or Old Shanghai Street

Depending on the circumstances, visitors will head to the historic City God Temple or Old Shanghai Street. This area is rich in traditional Shanghai culture, where visitors can worship at the City God Temple, purchase local handicrafts and souvenirs, or explore the Old Shanghai Street for local snacks and a taste of the city's history. The free time here will last for one hour.


16:15 - 17:45: Lujiazui Skybridge & Oriental Pearl Tower

Visitors will proceed to the Lujiazui  Skybridge, where they can enjoy panoramic views of Shanghai's iconic skyline. The tour will then continue to the Oriental Pearl Tower, one of the most famous landmarks in the city. Visitors have the option to ascend the observation deck to enjoy a bird's-eye view of the city, experiencing the modernity and vibrancy of Shanghai. The visit will last for 1.5 hours.


18:00: Return to Hotel

After the visit to the Oriental Pearl Tower, the guide will lead the group back to the city hotel. The estimated return time is 18:00, marking the end of a memorable day exploring Shanghai.

Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. You can find awesome souvenirs and experience the trendy vibes in cool stores. The neon lights at night are just spectacular, shining bright like Times Square in New York. The food here is incredible too. I had a feast for my taste buds. Shanghai, I'll definitely be back!

As a solo traveler from Canada, I was nervous about navigating China alone—but this 11-day tour was PERFECT! From hiking the Great Wall at sunrise (Day 3) to gasping at the Terracotta Army (Day 5), every day delivered ‘pinch-me’ moments. The real showstopper? Zhangjiajie’s Avatar Mountains (Day 7)! Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic! Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal! The night views of stilt houses glowing over the river were straight from a fairy tale. For fellow Avatar lovers and adventure seekers: Don’t miss this bucket-list experience! 10/10 would return.
