After a morning of rest and jet lag adjustment, your afternoon begins with a visit to Tiananmen Square, one of the world’s largest public squares. This iconic landmark is surrounded by monumental buildings, such as the Mao Zedong Memorial Hall and the Great Hall of the People. From there, you’ll walk to the Forbidden City, the largest and best-preserved imperial palace complex in the world. Explore its vast courtyards and halls, rich in history and architectural beauty.

Afterward, head to Jingshan Park, located just north of the Forbidden City. Climb to the top of Jingshan Hill for a stunning panoramic view of the Forbidden City at sunset, a perfect photo opportunity.


Recommended Activity:

Take your time exploring the Forbidden City’s intricate architecture and gardens. The Jingshan Park sunset view is the highlight of the day and offers one of the best views in Beijing.

Today, delve deeper into Beijing’s rich history. Start your day at the National Museum of China, which is located on the eastern side of Tiananmen Square. The museum houses vast collections of Chinese art and historical artifacts, including ancient pottery, jade, and ancient calligraphy. Afterward, visit Beihai Park, a serene imperial garden that dates back to the 11th century. Walk around the Beihai Lake and take in views of the White Pagoda, a symbol of Beijing's classical garden design.

The day ends with a visit to the Hutongs, the narrow alleys that reveal the heart of old Beijing. You’ll experience a slice of local life, from traditional courtyard houses to lively street markets.


Recommended Activity:

Explore the Hutongs by rickshaw ride or take a walking tour to discover the charm of these ancient neighborhoods, where old Beijing still thrives amidst the modern city.

Start your day with a visit to the Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the most scenic and well-preserved sections of the Wall, located about 1.5 hours outside of Beijing. You can hike up to the Wall or take the cable car to enjoy breathtaking views of the Wall winding across the mountain ridges. It’s one of the best spots for photography and exploration.

In the afternoon, head to the Temple of Heaven, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its stunning architecture and serene surroundings. The temple was once used by emperors to pray for good harvests. Walk through its vast park, where locals often practice Tai Chi or play traditional games.

Take time to enjoy the Temple of Heaven’s peaceful atmosphere. Consider joining a local Tai Chi class for an immersive cultural experience.

With immersive themed areas like Jurassic World, Minion Land, and Harry Potter, there’s something for everyone. Enjoy thrilling rides like the Transformers 3D Battle or explore magical realms in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. There are also live performances and a range of dining and shopping options.


Note: This day is free for you to explore the park independently (without guide). You’ll have full freedom to explore the park at your own pace, and your driver will pick you up at the designated time to take you back to the hotel.

Plan your day around the must-see rides and shows, and don’t forget to catch a live performance or grab a souvenir from your favorite movie franchise.

Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. You can find awesome souvenirs and experience the trendy vibes in cool stores. The neon lights at night are just spectacular, shining bright like Times Square in New York. The food here is incredible too. I had a feast for my taste buds. Shanghai, I'll definitely be back!

As a solo traveler from Canada, I was nervous about navigating China alone—but this 11-day tour was PERFECT! From hiking the Great Wall at sunrise (Day 3) to gasping at the Terracotta Army (Day 5), every day delivered ‘pinch-me’ moments. The real showstopper? Zhangjiajie’s Avatar Mountains (Day 7)! Our guide made the stone pillars come alive with stories. Massive thanks for handling all logistics—bullet train tickets, entry passes, car! And the 4-star hotels surprised me.

Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic! Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal! The night views of stilt houses glowing over the river were straight from a fairy tale. For fellow Avatar lovers and adventure seekers: Don’t miss this bucket-list experience! 10/10 would return.
