Chuanzhusi is not a temple, instead, it is a small town. Today we will mainly visit Huanglong National Park.

 

Attractions Features:

Huanglong National Park is famous for its colorful calcified colorful pools, the water of which is in brilliant colors of blue, green and yellow, as if it were jewels set in the mountains. The scenic area also features natural landscapes such as virgin forests, snow-capped mountains and waterfalls, as well as unique geothermal hot springs. Huanglong Temple and the surrounding Tibetan culture also add humanistic charm to the tour.

 

Sightseeing Methods:

Walking tour: Walk along the wooden trestle built in the scenic area, you can enjoy the colorful pool and other attractions from a close distance.

Ropeway to the mountain: in order to save energy, you can choose the ropeway to go up the mountain, and then walk down the mountain, which is not only easy but also can fully experience the beauty of the scenic area.

 

Suggested Visiting Time:

It takes 4-6 hours to visit Huanglong National Park, it is recommended to arrange to enter the scenic area in the morning or in the morning to avoid the peak hours and enjoy a quieter experience.

After breakfast at your hotel, set out for the full-day exploration of Jiuzhaigou National Park. Your guide will accompany you to hop on a sightseeing bus to enter the park to explore the fairyland landscape of Jiuzhaigou.

Jiuzhaigou is famous for its stunning water features and natural ecology, and is divided into three main gorges: Shuzheng Valley, Rize Valley and Zechawa Valley. These three ditches are distributed in a “Y” shape, each with its own unique characteristics.

The Shuzheng Valley: Jiuzhaigou's “Welcome Area”, is the entrance section of Jiuzhaigou and the first main ditch after visitors enter the park, with waterfalls, lakes and Tibetan villages as the main attractions along the way. It is recommended to take a walking tour and enjoy the attractions along the trestle all the way to feel the quietness and vitality of Shuzhenggou. It takes about 1.5-2 hours.

Rize Valley: Jiuzhaigou's “Essence Area”,Rize Valley has a rich landscape and is the most central area of Jiuzhaigou, featuring alpine lakes and primeval forests. Featured attractions include: the Sea of Five Flowers, a representative attraction of Jiuzhaigou, with intertwined water and grass at the bottom of the lake and colorful water. Pearl Beach Waterfall,and Panda Sea...

It is recommended to take the scenic eco-bus to reach the main attractions and partially walk to experience it in depth. And it will take bout 3-4 hours, it is recommended to leave enough time to take photos and enjoy the lake.

Zechawa Valley:Jiuzhaigou's “Highland Lakes”,is dominated by high altitude lakes, magnificent and mysterious.Featured attractions include: Changhai, the largest lake in Jiuzhaigou, is 3,100 meters above sea level, with a vast mirror-like surface and surrounded by snow-capped mountains.

It is recommended to take the scenic environmental protection vehicle directly to the Changhai, and then walk along the trestle to the colorful pool. It will take about 2-3 hours.

Panda Valley: Panda Valley is fully known as Dujiangyan Wild Breeding Research Center (Wild Breeding Center) mainly undertakes the functions of wild training, release and breeding of giant pandas and other endangered and rare wildlife, and carries out the work of wildlife protection, wild training and release, field rescue, nature education and eco-tourism. This itinerary connects the three western Sichuan tourism classics: the magnificent water conservancy project of Dujiangyan, the magnificent Buddhist sculpture art of Leshan Giant Buddha, and the quiet Zen atmosphere of Zhiguo Temple. It is suitable for travelers who like history, culture and natural scenery.

Leshan Giant Buddha, a carved in the east bank of the Minjiang River on the cliffs of Lingyun Mountain Maitreya, is the world's largest stone Maitreya Buddha seated statue. 2006 was listed as a World Heritage Site, is one of the iconic attractions of Sichuan tourism.

Leshan Buddha 71 meters high, 7 meters long ears, shoulder width of 28 meters, the back of the foot can accommodate a hundred people and sit, so that “the mountain is a Buddha, Buddha is a mountain”. The statue of Buddha has a peaceful expression and grandeur, showing the exquisite skills of ancient craftsmen and magnificent artistic style.

Located in Emeishan City, Sichuan Province, Baoguo Temple is a famous Buddhist temple at the foot of Mount Emei. It was built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, and is an important gateway to Emei Mountain and the starting point for Buddhist rituals. The temple is famous for its deep Buddhist culture, long history and beautiful natural environment.

At an altitude of 3,079 meters, the Golden Peak of Mount Emei is the highest point of Mount Emei and the core of the Buddhist Pushya Bodhisattva's dojo. The Golden Peak is marked by the four-faced, ten-faceted Puxian Golden Buddha, and is surrounded by Buddhist buildings such as the Golden Hall, the Silver Hall, and the Copper Hall. It is the best place to view the natural wonders of Mount Emei, including the sea of clouds, Buddha's light, sunrise and snow. The Golden Peak blends magnificent natural scenery with a strong religious atmosphere, making it a must-see on a trip to Mount Emei.

Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. You can find awesome souvenirs and experience the trendy vibes in cool stores. The neon lights at night are just spectacular, shining bright like Times Square in New York. The food here is incredible too. I had a feast for my taste buds. Shanghai, I'll definitely be back!

As a solo traveler from Canada, I was nervous about navigating China alone—but this 11-day tour was PERFECT! From hiking the Great Wall at sunrise (Day 3) to gasping at the Terracotta Army (Day 5), every day delivered ‘pinch-me’ moments. The real showstopper? Zhangjiajie’s Avatar Mountains (Day 7)! Our guide made the stone pillars come alive with stories. Massive thanks for handling all logistics—bullet train tickets, entry passes, car! And the 4-star hotels surprised me.

Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic! Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal! The night views of stilt houses glowing over the river were straight from a fairy tale. For fellow Avatar lovers and adventure seekers: Don’t miss this bucket-list experience! 10/10 would return.
