After breakfast, we will start with a visit to the Ming City Wall, one of the largest city walls in China, dating back to the Ming Dynasty. As you walk along the wall, you can admire the ancient construction techniques and learn about the history of Nanjing as a capital city.

Next, we head to Xuanwu Lake, a peaceful urban park with beautiful views of the city and the surrounding mountains. You can enjoy a leisurely walk around the lake, or rent a paddleboat to experience the tranquility of this scenic spot.

Afterward, we will visit Jiming Temple, a famous Buddhist temple that has stood for over a thousand years. Here, you can explore the serene environment and witness locals praying and lighting incense, immersing yourself in the rich spiritual atmosphere.

Following this, we will visit Laomendong, an ancient district that showcases Nanjing's traditional architecture and local culture. Wander through the narrow streets lined with old-style houses, and explore the shops selling local handicrafts and snacks.

Finally, we will make our way to the Confucius Temple (Fuzimiao), a place of worship dedicated to Confucius. The area surrounding the temple is also home to a bustling market, where you can experience Nanjing's vibrant local life and shop for unique souvenirs.

Evening Option:

In the evening, you may choose to visit the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge, an iconic landmark with breathtaking views of the Yangtze River. Alternatively, enjoy a relaxing evening stroll at Nanjing's Qinhuai River, where you can take in the picturesque lights and the lively atmosphere.
