Best Time to Visit
Harbin Polarland is open to visitors year-round.As an indoor facility with climate control,it remains unaffected by seasonal weather changes;however, the visitor experience is particularly enhanced in winter when combined with a visit to the Ice and Snow World, while summer visits offer a comfortable escape from the heat—perfect for family trips.
Winter(Dec–Feb):This marks Harbin's peak season for ice and snow tourism.Visiting the Polarland is a prime choice for indoor activities in the"Ice City,"serving as an ideal"warm-up"stop before or after exploring outdoor attractions like the Ice and Snow World and the Snow Expo. This is the busiest time of year,so advance planning is essential.
Summer(Jun–Aug):Harbin enjoys a cool climate during these months, making it a popular summer retreat. The Polarland is a top destination choice for families with children.During this season, the surrounding Sun Island Wetlands offer breathtaking scenery, making it an excellent opportunity to visit both attractions together.
Spring&Autumn(Apr–May;Sep–Oct):The weather is pleasant during these transitional seasons, and visitor numbers are relatively low, allowing you to leisurely enjoy the animal exhibits and live performances.Best Time to Visit:We recommend arriving right at opening time(9:00 AM)to catch the morning Beluga and Dolphin shows first(morning slots are typically the most frequent, and the animals are at their most active). This allows you to explore the exhibits and enjoy interactive experiences at a more leisurely pace in the afternoon.
