Zhangjiajie Huanglong Cave, known as the "Wonder of the World's Caves", is famous for its spectacular stalactites, mysterious underground rivers and geological landscapes.

 

1. Long Palace

It is the largest and oldest hall in the Yellow Dragon Cave, formed 200,000 years ago, and there are three wonders of "Dinghai Shenzhen", "Longwang Baozuo" and "Ten Thousand Years of Cedar". "Dinghai Shenzhen" is as high as 19.2 meters, it is the treasure of the town cave of Huanglong Cave, the two ends are thick and the middle is thin, it grew 200,000 years ago, and it is still growing.

2. Xiangshui River

Located on the second floor of Huanglong Cave, the total length is 2800 meters, the average water depth is 6 meters, and one of the sections is 800 meters by boat, and the time is about 8 minutes.

3. Tianxianshui Waterfall: 

It is the largest flow in the developed karst cave in China, the hanging waterfall with the highest drop, the drop is up to 27.3 meters, it pours down from the top of the cave grotto, the flying beads splash jade, the momentum is magnificent, and the four seasons are inexhaustible.

4. Qianqiu Field: 

The scientific name is "Flowstone Dam", also called "Sour Field", it is the calcium carbonate deposit formed by the horizontal flow of water in the process of flowing at the bottom of the cave, and there are countless large and small Qianqiu fields in the cave, which are vertical and horizontal, and resemble a piece of quite spectacular pastoral scenery.

Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. You can find awesome souvenirs and experience the trendy vibes in cool stores. The neon lights at night are just spectacular, shining bright like Times Square in New York. The food here is incredible too. I had a feast for my taste buds. Shanghai, I'll definitely be back!

As a solo traveler from Canada, I was nervous about navigating China alone—but this 11-day tour was PERFECT! Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic! Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal! The night views of stilt houses glowing over the river were straight from a fairy tale. For fellow Avatar lovers and adventure seekers: Don’t miss this bucket-list experience! 10/10 would return.
