Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. You can find awesome souvenirs and experience the trendy vibes in cool stores. The neon lights at night are just spectacular, shining bright like Times Square in New York. The food here is incredible too. I had a feast for my taste buds. Shanghai, I'll definitely be back!

As a solo traveler from Canada, I was nervous about navigating China alone—but this 11-day tour was PERFECT! From hiking the Great Wall at sunrise (Day 3) to gasping at the Terracotta Army (Day 5), every day delivered ‘pinch-me’ moments. The real showstopper? Zhangjiajie’s Avatar Mountains (Day 7)! Our guide made the stone pillars come alive with stories. Massive thanks for handling all logistics—bullet train tickets, entry passes, car! And the 4-star hotels surprised me.

Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic! Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal! The night views of stilt houses glowing over the river were straight from a fairy tale. For fellow Avatar lovers and adventure seekers: Don’t miss this bucket-list experience! 10/10 would return. Q & A

Asked by Nahum from Auroralia | July 31,2025 18:07
The guide, do they know local stories, or just scripted facts?
Answered by intotravelchina | July 31,2025 18:15
Our guides are local experts, not script-readers! They share stories like: Why the Leshan Buddha was carved (to calm a dangerous river—legend says it worked!). Emei’s "Buddha’s Light"—a rare optical phenomenon, and how monks interpreted it. Chengdu’s tea house culture—why locals spend entire afternoons there (hint: it’s about community, not just tea). They’ll even chat with monks or vendors to get extra insights—you’ll learn more than any guidebook!
Asked by Nixon from Canada | July 31,2025 17:46
What’s the difference between the "Lingyun Temple" and "Wuyou Temple" at Leshan?
Answered by intotravelchina | July 31,2025 18:15
We visit Lingyun Temple (right next to the Buddha) for its direct views! Lingyun sits on the cliff above the Buddha—you’ll pass through its halls on the way down to the statue, with windows framing the Buddha’s head. Wuyou Temple is across the river (quieter, fewer tourists) but has distant Buddha views. We focus on Lingyun for its proximity—you’ll feel the Buddha’s presence as you walk through the temple gates.
Asked by Nat Delia from UK | July 31,2025 17:28
Are there any cultural rules I should follow at Mount Emei’s temples?
Answered by intotravelchina | July 31,2025 18:16
Respectful behavior is key: Dress: Cover shoulders and knees (no short shorts/skirts) in temples—modest casual wear works. Photography: No flash (harms ancient artifacts) or photos during ceremonies. Monks are happy to pose for photos if you ask first (smile and gesture—most agree!). Offerings: If lighting incense, follow the guide’s lead (3 sticks, no more—Taoist/Buddhist tradition). Locals appreciate effort to respect their culture, and our guide will remind you of these tips on Day 2.
Asked by Aries Becky from Singapore | July 31,2025 17:04
how is Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding different from the Dujiangyan Panda Valley?
Answered by intotravelchina | July 31,2025 18:17
The Chengdu Base is the most iconic—home to over 150 pandas, including cubs (April–October are best for seeing little ones!). Unlike Dujiangyan (focused on rewilding), this base is designed for visitors, with wide viewing areas and a "Nursery" where you can watch cubs play. It’s larger, more accessible, and has pandas of all ages—from tiny cubs to grumpy adults. For first-time panda lovers, it’s unbeatable.
Asked by Megan from Kenya | July 31,2025 16:36
Mount Emei is known for its monkeys—are they dangerous?
I’ve read stories of them snatching bags. Will the guide provide tips to avoid issues, or should I bring deterrents like pepper spray?
Answered by intotravelchina | July 31,2025 18:17
Emei’s macaques are curious, not aggressive—if you follow our guide’s tips! They rarely attack but may grab food or loose items. Our guide will warn you to: Keep snacks in sealed bags, stored in backpacks (not handbags). Avoid eye contact or sudden movements. Use the provided "monkey sticks" (light bamboo poles) to gently deter them (no pepper spray needed—harmful to wildlife!). The monkeys are part of Emei’s charm, and with these steps, you’ll enjoy watching them without stress.
